Canillo church

In the small town of Canillo is a classic Romanesque Andoran church, with the graveyard built up into terraces to allow its construction on the mountainside.

Soldeu

Further up the valley from Canillo is the skiing town of Soldeu, there are many obvious ski runs through the mountains all around, some still had snow on when we were there in May, albeit not enough to ski the whole way down.

Lunch in Ordino church square

We took lunch at Casa Leon, in the church square in Ordino, where they have a 'touristique' menu of a four course meal for less than €10, including some of the finest beef I've ever tasted.
